SHOPIAN: Gram Sabhas under "Reform Utsav" were conducted today across all 98 Panchayat Halqas of the district, witnessing active participation of local residents and Panchayat representatives.

The Gram Sabha proceedings focused on issues of local importance, community participation and development priorities. Various matters concerning public welfare, implementation of government schemes, basic amenities and developmental requirements were discussed with the people.

Officials and Panchayat representatives sensitized participants about ongoing government initiatives and encouraged them to actively participate in the planning and implementation of development activities at the grassroots level.

The Gram Sabhas also provided a platform for the public to raise their concerns and put forth suggestions for improving civic amenities and accelerating development in their respective Panchayat Halqas.

The conduct of Gram Sabhas across all Panchayat Halqas reaffirmed the commitment towards strengthening grassroots democracy, participatory governance, and people-centric development in the district.
