SRINAGAR: Gandhi Memorial College, in collaboration with the Gandhi Global Family (J&K), organized a seminar on the theme "Truth and Non-Violence" as part of the Gandhi Jayanti celebrations, attended by a large gathering of students and faculty members.

Delivering the keynote address, Padma Bhushan awardee Rajeev Sethi emphasized the enduring relevance of Mahatma Gandhi’s core philosophy, highlighting truth and non-violence as vital instruments for fostering modern societal peace, ethical leadership, and conflict resolution.

Other eminent speakers, including Padma Shri awardee S. P. Verma, Arvind Matoo, and Kusum Kaul Vyas, also shared insightful perspectives on applying Gandhian principles in contemporary society and education.
