UDHAMPUR: On the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, the Motor Vehicle Department Udhampur, in collaboration with the Health Department, organized a Health and Eye Check- up Camp at Old Bus Stand, Udhampur to extend health care services to drivers and conductors of buses and mini-buses.

The camp was organized with the objective of ensuring the health and visual fitness of drivers and promoting road safety. A team of medical professionals deputed with the assistance of the CMO, conducted comprehensive health check-ups and eye examinations of the drivers and conductors.

The Doctors conducted vision screening and general health examination, provided necessary medical advice and guidance to the participants regarding eye care, general health, preventive measures and the importance of maintaining physical fitness while performing duties on the road.

The MVD Team appealed to all drivers and conductors of buses and minibuses to take their health seriously, undergo periodic medical and eye examinations and strictly adhere to prescribed road-safety norms to ensure safer roads and secure transportation for the general public.
