UDHAMPUR: The Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute, Udhampur, successfully concluded the third batch of its Management Development Programme  under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance  scheme. As part of the MDP, 20 existing entrepreneurs underwent a 30-hour comprehensive training module, which included classroom sessions, field visits and interactions with domain experts from various sectors.

The curriculum was meticulously designed to enhance the managerial, financial and strategic capabilities of the participants. It covered key areas such as business planning, marketing strategies, digital tools, financial literacy, regulatory compliance, innovation and leadership development. The programme also featured mentorship sessions, case studies and hands-on workshops, providing practical knowledge and real-world insights to help entrepreneurs scale their ventures and build sustainable enterprises.

This flagship initiative aligns with the broader objectives of the Government of India’s RAMP programme, which aims to strengthen the MSME ecosystem across the country. The RAMP scheme is funded by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India and is being implemented in Jammu and Kashmir by the Industries and Commerce Department.

The valediction ceremony was graced by Deputy Director, Employment Udhampur Mohinder Kumar Sharma, District Nodal Officer JKEDI Yash Paul Sharma and officials from various line departments. They commended the participants for their enthusiasm and reaffirmed JKEDI’s commitment to promoting inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurship in the region.
