KATHUA: Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rajesh Sharma today handed over 55 sanction letters to aspiring entrepreneurs of the district under the Mission YUVA, a Government’s initiative to support youth in establishing their business ventures and promoting self-employment. The sanction letters were presented to the beneficiaries at a simple ceremony held at the Zonal Head Office J&K Bank.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner lauded the   J&K Bank for extending credit linkage to youth-led enterprises. He said Mission YUVA has greatly helped in channelizing the potential of young people towards productive livelihood and creation of employment opportunities.

The DC also interacted with the beneficiaries, encouraging them to work with dedication and innovation to ensure the success of their ventures. He assured full support from the District Administration in providing guidance and handholding under various government schemes.

Also present on the occasion were Additional District Development Commissioner Surinder Mohan Sharma, J&K Bank Division Head, Zonal Head and DGM, besides other functionaries from the Bank and the officials from District Industries Centre.
