JAMMU: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, led by its senior leaders, paid rich tributes to Bhagwan Valmiki Ji on the auspicious occasion of Valmiki Jayanti, observed on the Purnima of the Ashwin month, at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. The programme was marked by devotional fervour, floral tributes, and reflections on the divine teachings and life of the great sage.
J&K BJP Vice-President Rajeev Charak, General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra, Baldev Singh Billawaira, and Gopal Mahajan, Office Secretary Tilak Raj Gupta, Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan, Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, SC Morcha President Dharminder Kumar, Library Incharge Kulbhushan Mohtra, HS Pammi, Hans Raj Loria, Adarsh Jathiaar, Pooja Grover, Seema Devi, Yashpaul Shivgotra, Mohinder Bhagat, Balbir Ram, ML Menia, Rajkumar, Vijay Anand Gill, President, All J&K Valmiki Sabha & BJP SC Morcha senior leader along with dozens of Sabha office bearers including Bharat Hans, Love Bhatti, Tarsem Hans, Amar Moman, Ajit Gill, and others paid tributes to Bhagwan Valmiki ji on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajeev Charak said that Bhagwan Valmiki Ji was a beacon of wisdom and enlightenment who taught the values of righteousness, compassion, and equality. He said that the Revered Ramayana by the Adikavi Bhagwan Valmiki, continues to guide humanity towards moral living and social harmony.
Sanjita Dogra emphasized that Valmiki Ji’s life exemplifies the power of transformation and devotion. She said that the teachings of Bhagwan Valmiki remind us that with sincere effort and purity of heart, one can overcome all challenges and achieve greatness. Baldev Singh Billawaria said that BJP draws inspiration from Valmiki Ji’s message of social equality and upliftment of the downtrodden. He said that the party is committed to carrying forward his ideals through inclusive development and respect for all.
Gopal Mahajan highlighted that the teachings of Valmiki Bhagwan have been an integral part of India’s social fabric which teaches us that your present and future are determined by your actions. Dharminder Kumar said that Valmiki Jayanti is an occasion to rededicate ourselves to the path of truth and equality envisioned by the sage. Vijay Anand Gill said that Bhagwan Valmiki Ji’s message of universal brotherhood and justice is more relevant today than ever before.
