DODA: The Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Doda organised a Skill Convocation Ceremony 2025 for its ITI pass out trainees last weekend. Assistant Commissioner Revenue Ashraf Parvaiz awarded mementoes & certificates to the trade wise toppers. The programme started with the live streaming of National Level function on Kaushal Deekshant Samaroh at Vigyan Bhawan New Delhi addressed by the Prime Minister.
The Chief Guest, in his address, congratulated the pass-out trainees for their hard work and perseverance and asked them to make the best use of their knowledge to attain professional success. He also appreciated the performance of the institution in imparting quality training in different trades.
Earlier, Superintendent Er. Naresh Singh in his welcome address, gave a brief account of Skill Training being imparted to the youth in the Institute, including one and two Year duration and short-term skill training courses under PMKVY, PM Vishwakarma Surya Ghar, SANKALP etc. He informed that 69 trainees, who appeared in the All-India Trade Computer Based Test (CBT), successfully completed their training in 05 different trades.
Faculty Members Raiees Ahmad (COPA Instructor) and Mukhtar Ahmad, Drawing Instructor (Nodal Officer ITI Doda YUVA Scheme) also congratulated all the candidates who passed out with flying colors from ITI Doda. The Convocation Ceremony culminated with handing over of NTC & PNTC Certificates to the passed-out trainees.
