RAMBAN: State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI RSETI) Ramban, under the leadership of Director SBI RSETI Ramban Harvinder Singh organized an Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) here at village Gaitye. The program focused on motivating women to become self-reliant, confident and economically independent by establishing their own income-generating ventures. The awareness camp was conducted under the supervision of Senior Faculty Amrik Singh Raju and CFL Field Officer Asif Mustafa Naik.

As many as 25 women belonging to nearby villages attended the awareness programme. Participants were informed about the role of SBI RSETI in providing free skill development training in multiple trades such as tailoring, dairy farming, house wiring and food processing. They were also educated about different government-sponsored schemes including PMEGP, JKREGP, MUDRA Yojana and HADP designed to assist budding entrepreneurs with financial support for launching or expanding their enterprises.

A session on financial literacy was also held, highlighting social security schemes like PMJDY, PMSBY, PMJJBY, APY and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. Notably, five new PMSBY applications were registered at the event. Participants expressed gratitude to SBI RSETI Ramban for organizing such an informative and motivational camp promoting women’s empowerment and financial inclusion.
