JAMMU: Sanjita Dogra, State General Secretary and Headquarters In-Charge of BJP Jammu & Kashmir, praised the Indian women's cricket team's remarkable 88-run victory against Pakistan in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025, calling it a moment of pride for the entire nation and a powerful example of women empowerment.
Sanjita Dogra described this victory as a continuation of ‘Operation Sindoor’, a symbolic representation of India’s strength, dignity, and womanhood. She stated that Indian women, whether on the field or off it, are rewriting history with courage and confidence.
Sanjita Dogra said that this victory is not just about cricket. It is a triumph of self-belief. It is a message from the daughters of India to the world, showing that Indian women are second to none in any field, be it sports, science, services, or sacrifice.
Dogra also linked this win to the broader narrative of women’s empowerment under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She highlighted that the Modi government has advanced women-centric policies and initiatives such as ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ and the ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam’, increasing women's participation across all sectors.
“Today, when our women wear the tricolor on their chests, they carry the dreams of 1.4 billion people with them,” Dogra said. She further added that their performance is a response to every stereotype, every obstacle, and every wall that ever tried to confine them. Sanjita Dogra congratulated the team and especially urged young girls to take inspiration from this victory.
