JAMMU: The Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, today organized the Inter-Collegiate Kho-Kho (Men) Tournament 2025–26 at the Kho-Kho Ground, University of Jammu. This flagship sporting event aims to promote physical fitness, teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship among young students. Serving as a prestigious platform for the University’s affiliated colleges, the tournament allows participants to showcase their athletic talent, strategic skills, and competitive zeal.
By encouraging enthusiastic participation and healthy competition, the event continues to inspire students to adopt an active lifestyle while fostering camaraderie, unity, and mutual respect through the traditional and culturally significant sport of Kho-Kho.
Day One Highlights:
The inaugural day of the tournament witnessed thrilling contests and an exceptional display of skills and strategy by the participating teams. Each match was marked by competitive spirit and high energy, underscoring the growing popularity of Kho-Kho among students.

GDC Paloura beat GDC Reasi by 02 points.
GDC Doda beat Dogra Degree College by 14 points.
GDC Doda beat UIET Kathua by 08 points.
GDC R S Pura beat GDC Paloura by 01 points.
The tournament is conducted under the supervision of Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu. His dedicated team has ensured the smooth conduct of the event with a strong emphasis on discipline, fair play and organizational excellence. The match was officiated by Sh. Anil Sharma, Sh. Ajay Gupta, Sh. Dheeraj Sharma, Sh. Palbinder Singh, Ms. Pooja Sharma and Sh. Gagan Kumar.
