SHOPIAN: JKB Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Shopian, in collaboration with Sankalp Hub for Empowerment of Women Mission Shakti Social Welfare Department Shopian today organized the valediction and certificate distribution ceremony at its premises. The event marked the culmination of a 31-day skill development program in cutting and tailoring for women held at the off-campus training center at Sofipora Zainapora.
A total of 35 women trainees successfully completed the program.The training was provided free of cost, with RSETI Shopian ensuring complete arrangements including training materials, lodging, and boarding facilities. Speaking on the occasion Director, RSETI Shopian, Naseer Ahmad Turray highlighted the instituteâs continued efforts to empower unemployed youth particularly women through diverse skill-based courses.
He reaffirmed RSETIâs commitment to promoting self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment across the district. The Coordinator, Sankalp Hub for Empowerment of Women Mission Shakti Shopian, lauded the effective conduct of the training program and appreciated RSETI Shopian for its efficient management and quality training delivery. She also assured sustained cooperation in future joint initiatives for womenâs empowerment.
