JAMMU: Health Department on Wednesday organized a comprehensive health care camp at Jagti Camp, providing vital medical services to nearly 200 residents. The initiative aimed to extend quality health care to underserved communities and raise awareness about preventive health measures.

The camp was organised under the supportive guidance of Director Health Services Jammu, Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar, offering free OPD services by Dr. Abu Adil- (Medicines), ENT services by Dr. Sandeep Lerra Consultant ENT, Government Hospital Sarwal; Ophtho services by Dr. Chander Rashmi Gupta I/C Consultant Ophthalmology Government Hospital Sarwal; Dental services by Dr. Neeru Bhagat and Family Medicine by Dr. King Ji Koul.

A large number of patients attended the camp and were provided free consultations, basic diagnostic services, medicines and general health counselling from the medical team. The turnout reflected the community’s strong participation and the growing need for accessible medical support in the area.

The Department expressed its special thanks to Dr. Abu Adil, Director, Kelley Memorial Society; Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar, Director Health Services Jammu and Dr. Sanjay Raina, Medical Superintendent, SDH Jagti, for their guidance, support and active involvement, which significantly contributed to the success of the camp. The health department remains committed to continuing such outreach initiatives to improve public health and ensure that essential services reach every section of society.
