KUPWARA: District Administration Kupwara in collaboration with Save Youth Save Future Foundation (SYSFF) today organized a programme titled “NOOR-E-WUJOOD” at Town Hall Kupwara to observe the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The event was presided over by ADC Kupwara, Gulzar Ahmed Khan and was aimed at interaction with terror-affected persons who are specially abled.
ADC Kupwara emphasised on sustained institutional and community support and efforts from district administration for rehabilitation, providing healthcare services and livelihood opportunities. Special medical camp was also organised by health department in coordination with social welfare department. Chairman SYSFF, Wajahat Farooq Bhat also spoke on the occasion highlighting ongoing outreach campaign. Participants expressed gratitude to the Administration for their support to various initiatives undertaken for terror affected families.
