NUBRA, LADAKH: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Ladakh, held a crucial meeting dedicated to organizational strengthening and advancing development initiatives for the people of Nubra Valley. The meeting was chaired by Tashi Gyaltson Khachu, State President, BJP UT Ladakh, accompanied by Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organization), BJP for Jammu-Kashmir, and Ladakh.
Tsering Sangdup, District Nubra President, Tsering Angchuk Ex Deputy Chairman LAHDC Leh, and Chosphel, BJP Leh District President, Ex councillors of the Nubra region, Mandal Presidents, and members of the Yuva Morcha participated in the meeting.
The meeting focused extensively on strengthening the BJP’s organizational structure at the booth and Mandal levels, ensuring the party’s vision, welfare-oriented policies, and developmental roadmap reach every household in the Nubra Valley. Leaders deliberated on key local issues, challenges faced by the community, and the need to adopt a more proactive and people-centric approach.
Tashi Gyaltson Khachu, while addressing the meeting, said that the active participation and valuable suggestions put forth by our grassroots leaders reflect a strong collective resolve. He said that the BJP Ladakh is moving ahead with clarity of purpose to fortify our organizational structure and drive development that genuinely uplifts every individual in Nubra Valley. Our commitment to the region is unwavering, and we will ensure that the benefits of our initiatives reach every corner of Nubra. A strong organizational foundation is essential for addressing public concerns effectively and enhancing the BJP’s reach across the region, he added.
Ashok Koul, in his address, said that the BJP remains dedicated to holistic and inclusive growth. The work done by BJP’s former councillors has been commendable, and it is the responsibility of party cadre to build upon that foundation. He further added that strengthening the organization at the grassroots will enable the party to respond effectively to public needs and accelerate development across Nubra.
Koul also undertook a comprehensive review of ongoing development works, with special appreciation extended to the former councillors of Nubra Valley for their significant contributions during their tenure. He acknowledged that the dedicated BJP leadership with their efforts had laid a solid groundwork for continued progress. Ex-Deputy Chairman Tsering Angchuk, delivered the note of thanks.
