JAMMU: Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar, Director Health Services Jammu (DHSJ), visited Block Primary Health Centre (PHC) Majalta and PHC Mansar to review the functioning, infrastructure and healthcare delivery services of the institutions.
During the visit, the Director interacted with the medical and paramedical staff and took a detailed review of patient care facilities, OPD services and availability of medicines. He also inspected the cleanliness, record maintenance and functioning of various sections including the laboratory, pharmacy and immunization units.
Dr. Zargar emphasized the importance of punctuality, discipline, and patient-friendly behavior among the staff. He directed the concerned officers to ensure that quality healthcare services are provided to the public and to maintain proper referral linkages for emergency cases.
He also appreciated the efforts of the staff working in far-flung areas and assured that all necessary support would be provided by the Directorate to further strengthen healthcare infrastructure and manpower. DHS Jammu got detailed information regarding the NTEP measures as new TRUNAAT machine was installed today. The visit was part of the ongoing exercise to monitor and improve healthcare delivery across rural and remote areas of Jammu Division.
