JAMMU: The Indian Institute of Management Jammu under the leadership of Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu concluded the tenth batch of the Nurturing Future Leadership Program on 29th Aug 2025 with a grand valedictory ceremonyat its permanent campus, Nyaya Classroom, Vedanta, MDP Centre, Jagti. Organized under the aegis of the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme, Ministry of Education, Government of India, this initiative reflects IIM Jammu's commitment to academic excellence and leadership development.The tenth batch comprised of 28 participants from institutes across India and is fully funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

Present during the valedictory ceremony were Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean, Faculty and Research, Program Director, IIM Jammu, Prof. Shyam Narayan Lal, Chairperson, Anandam and Media and Publication Division, IIM Jammu; Brigadier Neeraj Soni, Co-Chairperson, Anandam, IIM Jammu; Prof. Sanjeev Pathak, Chairperson, Executive Education & Consultancy (EE&C), IIM Jammu and Dr. Garima Maurya, Program Director, IIM Jammu.

Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean Faculty & Research and Program Director, IIM Jammu, reflected on the significance of the program, describing the week-long learning journey as highly fruitful. He emphasized the vital role of educators in shaping higher education in line with the vision of NEP 2020. He also highlighted the unique evaluation process and innovative tools introduced during the program by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, noting that both participants and faculty gained immensely through mutual learning. Prof. Ali further underscored the symbolic importance of organizing the 10th program in the 10th year of IIM Jammu, calling it a ā€œ10th squareā€ milestone in the institute’s journey.

Prof. Sanjeev Pathak, Chairperson, Executive Education & Consultancy (EE&C), IIM Jammu, in his address, highlighted the program’s three key outcomes, continuous learning, collective wisdom, and shared experiences. He applauded the active participation of all attendees and provided an overview of the Executive Education and Consultancy initiatives at IIM Jammu. He also encouraged participants to stay connected with the Institute through its digital platforms and share valuable inputs in the future.

The ceremony began with Dr. Garima Maurya, Program Director, IIM Jammu, presenting a comprehensive program report and summary of the week-long engagements. Participants shared their reflections, appreciating the enriching learning experience, the constant support from the faculty, and the warm hospitality extended throughout the program. Their heartfelt applause reflected the collective sense of gratitude and satisfaction.The ceremony was followed with certificate distribution, a vote of thanks by Dr. Garima Maurya, Program Director, IIM Jammu. 

The completion of NFLP tenth batch reiterates IIM Jammu’s commitment to strengthening teacher training and nurturing future leaders who will contribute to the nation’s higher education landscape.
