JAMMU: The Indian Institute of Management Jammu concluded the 11th Batch of its prestigious Nurturing Future Leadership Program (NFLP) with a formal valedictory ceremony held at the Vedanta MDP Centre on 19th Sept 2025. The five-day program, conducted from 15th Sept 2025 to 19th Sept 2025, is aimed at equipping emerging leaders with the skills, perspectives, and strategic insights necessary to excel in today’s dynamic business environment. Organized under the aegis of the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme, Ministry of Education, Government of India, this initiative reflects IIM Jammu's commitment to academic excellence and leadership development. The valedictory ceremony was graced by Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu.

Prof. B. S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, welcomed the participants and lauded the Ministry of Education’s initiative under the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme to nurture academic leadership. He emphasized that the program equips faculty with leadership skills, fosters collaboration, and builds a positive institutional culture, serving as a platform for peer learning and professional networking. Highlighting India’s vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047, he noted IIM Jammu’s role in this journey with 11 successful editions of Nurturing Future Leadership Training Program. He encouraged participants to engage in research collaborations, pursue doctoral programsfrom reputed institutions, andcontribute through joint publications. He urged participants to pursue research, joint publications, and doctoral studies with IIM Jammu faculty, while reiterating that for him, the nation always comes first.

Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean Faculty and Research, IIM Jammu, thanked the Ministry of Education, Govt of India for initiating impactful programs and shared that IIM Jammu has successfully conducted 11 programs and building strong relationships and emerging as a case study of growth for IIM Jammu. He highlighted that as one of the youngest IIMs, the Institute has already earned two international accreditations and in the process of achieving the triple crown. Stressing the value of collaboration, he urged participants to embrace continuous learning and view every achievement as a steppingstone to the future.

Prof. Sanjeev Pathak, Chairperson, Executive Education and Consultancy, IIM Jammu, emphasized that the Nurturing Future Leadership Programme is designed to develop contemporary leadership skills, strategic vision, and decision-making capabilities. He noted that the successful completion of the 11th batch underscores IIM Jammu’s commitment to nurturing a pipeline of future-ready leaders who can make meaningful contributions to organizations and society. The valedictory ceremony commenced with a brief welcome followed by a comprehensive Program Report presented by Dr. Sundar. R, Program Director, IIM Jammu. The report encapsulated the key highlights, learning outcomes, and participant engagement throughout the program.

Participants shared heartfelt reflections on their enriching journey, describing it as their first exposure to such an immersive and structured learning environment. They valued the use of real-life case studies, practical insights into modern management systems, along with the interactive sessions with faculty and students. The vibrant academic atmosphere, world-class infrastructure, and focus on leadership frameworks and peer learning left a lasting impression. Many expressed that the program not only enhanced their professional growth but also inspired them through the leadership of IIM Jammu’s faculty and mentors, making the experience memorable and transformative.

The event also featured the certificate distribution ceremony, recognizing the successful completion of the program by the participants.
