RAJOURI: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma today reviewed security and law and order situation in the District. The DC inquired about the registered and unregistered Trusts and NGOs, directing officers to maintain updated records and ensure monitoring of their activities as per government guidelines.
He stressed the importance of maintaining communal harmony and instructed the concerned ADCs to maintain law and order in their respective jurisdictions and act tough against inimical elements. The DC also directed all departments to submit pending SRO-43 cases at the earliest for timely processing.
To maintain social order, the DC instructed officers to report anti-government content on social media, keep close track of terror logistics, and ensure timely sharing of intelligence inputs. He further directed field officers to report the narratives used during school prayers to ensure alignment with constitutional principles and prevent any form of radicalization.
Senior Superintendent of Police Rajouri assured full cooperation in maintaining security and strengthening ground-level monitoring mechanisms. The meeting was attended by ADC Kalakote Tanvir Ahmed, ADC Rajouri Chander Prakash, ACR Mohd Jahangir Khan, Tehsildars, and other district and sectoral officers.
