A police team from Police Station Pulwama intercepted a suspect and recovered 1.190 kilograms of charas powder-like substance from his possession. The accused has been identified as Tariq Ahmad Rather son of Mohd Sabir Rather resident of Lajoora Pulwama.
A case has been registered at Police Station Pulwama under FIR No. 279/2025, and investigation has been initiated. J&K Police reaffirm its commitment to curb drug trafficking and requests citizens to cooperate by sharing any information related to drug peddling or other unlawful activities to help safeguard the community.
