PULWAMA: Police in Pulwama successfully concluded the 3-day Disaster Preparedness & Effective Response Training Programme held at DTC DPL Pulwama. The programme, conducted from 01–03 December 2025, followed the earlier week-long training session and was aimed at further strengthening the professional capability of police personnel in managing diverse disaster situations.
During the three-day module, participants were trained to effectively handle earthquakes, floods, fire incidents, chemical hazards, public safety emergencies, and mass-casualty scenarios. The training ensured that officers and officials are mentally, technically and operationally prepared to respond to both natural and man-made disasters. Police remains committed to enhancing disaster readiness and equipping its personnel with the skills required to safeguard lives and property during emergencies.
