THATHRI: In a continued effort to ensure the wellbeing of children under the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) scheme, the RBSK Team from Block Thathri organized a comprehensive health screening camp for the students of Govt Upper Primary School and Anganwadi Centre village Hoja. The camp was held under the guidance of the Chief Medical Officer Dr Om Kumar and the overall supervision of Block Medical Officer Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Kichloo.
The primary objective of the camp was to assess the health status of school and Anganwadi children and to identify any health issues at an early stage as envisaged under the RBSK scheme. During the camp, the medical team conducted general health check-ups, vision and dental screenings and provided health education to the children. Furthermore, an anti-tobacco pledge was administered by the doctors and enthusiastically taken by the students, reaffirming their commitment towards a tobacco-free life.
