UDHAMPUR: The District Level Kala Utsav 2025 organized by the School Education Department successfully concluded at SIKS Government Higher Secondary School Boys Udhampur. Principal of the host school, Manoj Kumar Jad graced the valedictory function as the chief guest.
Students from all eleven zones of the district showcased their remarkable talent and creativity across twelve art categories including Vocal and Instrumental Music, Dance, Theatre, Visual Arts, 2D, 3D, Toy Craft and Traditional Storytelling based on the national theme Viksit Bharat Vision 2047.
Addressing the participants, the Chief Guest appreciated the outstanding performances of the students and said that Kala Utsav is not merely a competition but a vibrant festival that connects the younger generation with the deep-rooted heritage of Indian art and values. He lauded the enthusiasm and teamwork of all zones, credited Udhampurâs consistent success at the UT level to collective efforts. He congratulated all participants and mentors for their dedication and creativity.
The event was organised under the overall supervision of Dy. Chief Education Officer Dr. Kalpana Jasrotia and coordinated by District Nodal Officer Rakesh Singh, with active support from Zonal Nodal Officers, team members, office staff, teachers, jury members and the host institution.
Students mesmerized the audience with their captivating and vibrant performances, turning the event into a true celebration of art and culture.
