REASI: An awareness programme on the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and Jammu & Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP) was organised by the Khadi & Village Industries Board (KVIB) Reasi at village Seela, Baradhari. The event drew a large gathering, including a significant number of women participants. The event aimed to inform the general public about the schemes and the benefits available under PMEGP and JKREGP.

During the programme, officials highlighted the availability of easy loan facilities through recognised financial institutions to promote self-employment and entrepreneurship.

 District Officer KVIB Narayan Dass informed that new ventures in the manufacturing, service and trading sectors can be established under the subsidized and supportive framework of PMEGP and JKREGP. He also sensitized participants about the procedures and formalities involved in registration and the submission of application forms under both schemes.

The camp was attended by Chief Guest Parveen Begam, Ex-BDC Chairperson; Director RSETI Munish Sharma; Ex-Sarpanch Ravi Kumar; Ex-Panch Sham Lal; Ex-Panch Madan Lal; Ex-Panch Rumail Singh and branch heads of various financial institutions.
