GANDERBAL: As part of the nationwide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Awareness Week, a CPR Awareness and Demonstration Program was conducted at Government Degree College (GDC) Ganderbal, in collaboration with the Health Department Ganderbal. The session aimed to raise awareness about the importance of CPR and to train students and faculty in essential life-saving techniques.

The demonstration was conducted by  healthcare professionals who provided a detailed and practical demonstration of Basic Life Support (BLS), including chest compressions, rescue breathing, and emergency response steps.

The event was highly appreciated by the Principal of GDC Ganderbal, who lauded the efforts of the Health Department, NSS, NCC, and Health Committee in organizing such a meaningful and potentially life-saving program. The Principal emphasized the importance of equipping young students with emergency response skills and encouraged more such awareness initiatives in the future. Such programs are vital in creating a prepared and responsible society, capable of responding effectively in critical situations where every second counts.
