DODA: Under the guidance of Chief Medical Officer Doda, Dr. Om Kumar, and the supervision of Block Medical Officer Thathri, Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Kichloo, s series of awareness sessions were today organized at multiple locations in Block Thathri as part of the ongoing “Tobacco Free Youth Campaign 3.0".
The sessions were held at National Academy Hr Sec School Thathri and Government Degree College (GDC) Thathri with the objective of sensitizing youth about the ill effects of tobacco consumption and promoting a healthy, tobacco-free lifestyle.
At NAHSS Thathri, the programme was attended by Dr. Shazia Shakeel and Rinku Rau, who delivered informative lectures highlighting the harmful effects of tobacco use and the importance of adopting a tobacco-free life.
Similarly, at GDC Thathri, the awareness session witnessed the participation of Pinku Sharma, Pooja Sharma, Farooq Ahmed and Manan Kichloo, who interacted with students and emphasized collective responsibility in creating a tobacco-free environment. On this occasion, pledges were also taken by students and staff members to refrain from tobacco use and to motivate others towards a healthier, tobacco-free society.
