SRINAGAR: The 5th edition of the 7-day Kashmir World Film Festival (KWFF) concluded today with a vibrant closing ceremony and award presentation held in Srinagar. The festival, which showcased cinematic excellence from across the globe, culminated in a celebration of creativity, storytelling, and cultural exchange.
Prominent political activist Ms. Safina Beig, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, lending prestige and encouragement to the festivalâs mission of promoting independent cinema. Renowned personalities Reena Choudhary (politician and Entrepreneur) and Lalit Parimoo (Bollywood) were present as Guests of Honor, adding further distinction to the event.
The day began with screenings of select films includingâIn a Frameworkâ, â43â, âMatric Passâ, âParenting special needs children Cerebral Palsyâ and âShushurâ, which captivated audiences with their compelling narratives and artistic depth.
