• Immersive Maha Aarti featuring projection mapping transforms the venue into a visual tribute to Mataji

AHMEDABAD: Rang Morla 2026 opened on a high note at Savanna Party Lawn, Ahmedabad, with a sold-out audience of more than 4,000 attendees gathering for a PreNavratri night led by Gujarati singer Aditya Gadhvi. Presented by TribeVibe Entertainment, the opening night brought together live Gujarati music, Garba, devotion and a largescale festival atmosphere, setting the tone for the tennight celebration running from October 10 to October 19, 2026.

The evening reflected Rang Morla’s vision of creating a Navratri experience rooted in Gujarati culture while bringing together thoughtful production and immersive elements. With audiences filling the venue, the event transformed into a shared celebration of music, community and tradition, as attendees joined in the Garba and responded to Aditya Gadhvi’s live performance.

A key highlight of the night was the immersive Maha Aarti experience, enhanced through projection mapping that transformed the trees surrounding the venue into a visual canvas featuring Mataji. The devotional presentation added a striking visual dimension to the ritual, bringing together technology and tradition in a moment designed to deepen the atmosphere of reverence and collective celebration.

Aditya Gadhvi, whose live performances are at the heart of Rang Morla, brought his distinctive Gujarati sound to the opening night. His set featured favourites including “Mor Bani Thangat,” “Rang Bhini Radha,” “Radha Ne Kaan Kare Vaat” and “Vadhaavo Re,” alongside “Haan Re Daan Maange,” his latest release. The audience joined in the music and festivities, adding to the energy of the soldout night. The event continues across ten nights at a single venue, offering audiences an opportunity to experience the spirit of Navratri through live performances, open dancing spaces, curated dĂ©cor and hospitality.

Rang Morla 2026 builds on the response to its debut edition, bringing music, culture, community and devotion together in a festival format. The opening night’s soldout turnout and the addition of immersive production elements reflect the event’s focus on creating a contemporary live experience while staying connected to the cultural traditions at the heart of Navratri.

Speaking on the opening night of Rang Morla 2026, Shoven Shah, Founder & CEO, TribeVibe Entertainment, said, “There is a special kind of energy when Ahmedabad comes together for Garba, and seeing more than 4,000 people join us for a soldout opening night was incredibly exciting. Having Aditya Gadhvi back at Rang Morla makes the experience even more meaningful because his voice and Gujarati music are so closely connected to the way people celebrate Navratri. We also wanted the devotional moments to feel truly immersive, and the Maha Aarti with Mataji brought to life through projection mapping was a powerful expression of how we can introduce new experiences while honouring tradition. This is exactly what Rang Morla stands for: celebrating Gujarat’s cultural spirit in a way that feels memorable, meaningful and shared.”
