UDHAMPUR: A vision care camp was organised today at District Jail Udhampur in collaboration with Government Medical College Udhampur and KLSM Rotary Eye and ENT Hospital. The camp was held under the close supervision of the Jail Superintendent.

A team of doctors, led by Dr. Ayush Raina, Casualty Medical Officer, GMC and Dr. Saksham Kailoo, conducted the camp. The medical team examined several inmates and provided them with the required medicines and spectacles free of cost.

Superintendent District Jail Mohammad Irfan Khan appreciated the efforts of the team of doctors, jail staff and medical staff led by Dr. Uttam Gupta, Medical Officer AYUSH for their cooperation and smooth coordination in ensuring the successful conduct of the camp. He urged the Medical Superintendent to organise such camps at regular intervals for the welfare and healthcare of inmates.
