BUDGAM: IGP Kashmir Shri Sujit Kumar Singh, IPS, distributed commendation certificates, appreciation letters and rewards to police personnel of District Budgam in recognition of their exemplary work and contribution towards effective policing. The event was held in the presence of DIG Central Kashmir Range Shri Rajiv Pandey, IPS.

The recipients included SSP Budgam Shri Hariprasad KK, IPS; SDPO Magam Shri Ashrif Lissery, JKPS; SHO Police Station Beerwah Shri Mudassir Nassar; SHO Police Station Magam Shri Khurshid Awan; and 17 other police officials.

The team of Police Station Beerwah was recognised for its significant contribution in exposing a fake employment syndicate, while Police Station Magam was appreciated for adopting the Digital Beat Policing System, reflecting a commitment to technology-driven and citizen-centric policing.

The recognition underscores the importance of professional dedication, proactive investigation and innovation in policing, while motivating police personnel to continue working towards the safety and security of the public.
