SAMBA: Deputy Commissioner Samba, Ayushi Sudan today chaired a meeting to review the progress of developmental works being executed under the District Capex Plan. The comprehensive review examined projects currently being implemented by the Public Works Department (PWD) across School Education, Health, and other key sectors. The officers presented detailed briefings on the status of ongoing works, ground-level challenges, and remedial measures being undertaken to overcome operational hurdles.
Ms. Sudan emphasized strict adherence to approved timelines and quality standards, instructing executing agencies to promptly resolve all pending issues, systematically remove bottlenecks and significantly accelerate the pace of execution to ensure that developmental interventions translate into tangible public benefits without delay. Highlighting the critical importance of coordinated inter-departmental functioning, the Deputy Commissioner called for optimum utilization of allocated funds, seamless cooperation among stakeholders and a collective focus on delivering durable infrastructure and efficient public services within stipulated timeframes. The meeting was attended by ADDC Champa Devi Thakur, Chief Planning Officer, Kasturi Lal, ACD, CEO, CMO, Executive Engineers, BDOs and other senior officers from concerned departments.
