KISHTWAR: District Administration Kishtwar, under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Kumar Sharma,   organised a grand concluding event to mark the end of the Phase-I of the 150 Years of ‘Vande Mataram’ celebrations. The event, held here at TRC, witnessed enthusiastic participation from officers, officials, students, and artists, reflecting a vibrant blend of patriotism and culture.

The programme commenced with a flag-hoisting ceremony led by the Nodal Officer Additional Deputy Commissioner Pawan Kotwal. A group of Students presented a soulful rendition of Vande Mataram, captivating the audience and reaffirming the patriotic spirit of the celebration.  A series of cultural performances followed, featuring stirring musical presentations by renowned local singers Shafqat Bazdar, Zulkar Nain and others, themed around the National Song Vande Mataram.

A vibrant dance performance was also presented by the students of Government Higher Secondary School, adding grandeur and emotional depth to the event. The District Administration expressed appreciation for the performers, participating institutions, and all stakeholders for making the Phase-I Culmination Event a memorable and inspiring tribute to the nation’s rich cultural heritage.
