PULWAMA, ANANTANG: As part of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas-2025 celebrations, Police in Pulwama organised an Awareness-cum-Exhibition at Police Station Pulwama to foster unity, civic responsibility, and stronger police–public relations. Moreover, Police in Anantnag organised a Padyatra at Pahalgam and Dooru.

In Pulwama, students from Solace International School participated enthusiastically and explored various facets of police functioning including the CCTNS unit, reporting room, Malkhana, lockup facilities, and FIR registration procedures. They gained valuable insights into police operations and the role of technology in effective law enforcement.

During the interactive session, students also symbolically assumed the role of SHO and interacted with SSP Pulwama Ms. Tanushree-IPS and DySP Headquarters, who shared perspectives on discipline, public cooperation, and the importance of national unity.

Meanwhile in Anantnag a Padyatra events were organized at Pahalgam and Dooru. During these events, Police officers, local youth, students, and members of civil society enthusiastically participated in the march, holding placards and raising slogans promoting peace and harmony. The Padyatra served as a reminder of Sardar Patel’s pivotal role in uniting the nation and fostering a spirit of togetherness among citizens. J&K Police reiterated their commitment to uphold the ideals of unity and national integration while continuing to serve the people with dedication and integrity.
