RAMBAN: As part of the ongoing campaign against drug abuse, the district administration Ramban along with and Police today spearheaded a Nasha Mukt Bharat awareness program at Government High School Ramsu. Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan and Senior Superintendent of Police Ramban, Arun Gupta, led the initiative, reaffirming the administrationâs commitment to building a drug-free society.
A Drug-Free India Pledge was administered to all participants, including students, community members, and dignitaries. Officials highlighted the growing challenge of drug addiction and emphasized the need for collective and sustained efforts to safeguard youth from this menace. The DC urged locals, parents, teachers, and community leaders to remain vigilant and to actively participate in awareness programs.
The SSP underscored the crucial role of policeâcommunity partnerships in curbing drug trafficking and ensuring a healthy, safe social environment. Meanwhile, debate and painting competitions were also held on the theme "Nasha Mukt Bharat" in which students of various schools participated.
The awareness program was organized alongside a vibrant cultural bonanza by Pogli Bazm-e-Adab, featuring traditional dance, music and poetry that reflected the cultural richness of the PogalâParistan region. Students from various schools delivered captivating performances, adding energy and enthusiasm to the event.
Welcoming the guests, Gulzabir Daing, President of Pogli Bazm-e-Adab, thanked the District and Police Administration for integrating an important social awareness message with cultural promotion. He appreciated the cooperation of locals, volunteers and participants in making the event impactful.
