KISHTWAR: Senior Congress leader G. M. Saroori today attended the 350th Annual Urs of Hazrat Shah Asrar-ud-Din (RHA) at Kishtwar, which was celebrated with immense devotion and spiritual fervour by thousands of devotees from across District Kishtwar and different parts of Jammu and Kashmir.Saroori offered prayers at the revered shrine and sought peace, prosperity, and communal harmony for the region.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the teachings of Hazrat Shah Asrar-ud-Din (RHA) continue to guide humanity towards love, unity, and compassion. He urged people to uphold the saint’s message of brotherhood and maintain the centuries-old tradition of mutual respect and religious harmony that Kishtwar is known for.He further emphasized that Jammu and Kashmir’s spiritual heritage, built upon the principles of Sufism, forms the foundation of its social fabric and collective strength.
