DODA: The Health Department Doda, under the direction of the Deputy Commissioner and the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer organized a series of anti-drug awareness sessions under the ongoing Information, Education and Communication (IEC) campaign.
The awareness programmes were held at Village Himote, Manoo, Dugroon, Kaljugasar, Chatra, Bheja, Chonwari, Chinta, Dharweri, Budhi, Tanta, Bhelli and several other locations across the district.
The Resource Persons from the Health Department sensitized students and community members about the ill effects of drug abuse and its far-reaching consequences on health, family and society. Participants also took a pledge to stay away from drugs and contribute to building a healthy and drug-free society. The campaign aims to promote awareness and collective responsibility in preventing substance abuse and safeguarding the wellbeing of youth in District Doda.
