RAJOURI: In a significant initiative to ensure education without pause for children belonging to nomadic and migratory tribes, the District Administration Rajouri, under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, has established 176 Special Centres across the district under Project BridGE (Bridging Gaps in Education).

The initiative aims to provide a 15-day Bridge Course focused on remedial learning to help migratory students cover up learning gaps and smoothly reintegrate into formal education after seasonal migrations.

Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma emphasized that education of these children must continue uninterrupted, irrespective of geographical movement. “Learning on the move, education without pause!” he remarked, reiterating the administration’s commitment to inclusive and accessible education for every child.

The DC has directed the Chief Education Officer to ensure effective monitoring of all the special centres and to provide necessary academic and logistical support for their smooth functioning.

The establishment of these learning centres reflects the district administration’s proactive approach toward educational equity, ensuring that no child is left behind, even in the most challenging terrains.
