DODA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda Harvinder Singh on Thursday chaired a review meeting to assess the progress made in the enrollment of eligible persons for the Ayushman Vay Vandana Card in the district. The meeting was held at DC Office Complex and attended by key officers from the health and planning departments.
Chief Planning Officer, Chief Medical Officer, District Health Officer, District Manager CSC and all Medical Officers from across the district participated in the review session. During the meeting, the District Manager Ayushman presented a detailed PowerPoint presentation highlighting the current status of card generation, coverage progress, bottlenecks at the field level and strategy for achieving 100% saturation of eligible beneficiaries.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of ensuring that all senior citizens and eligible individuals are enrolled at the earliest, so they can avail the medical benefits under the scheme without delay. He directed all Medical Officers and allied stakeholders to intensify awareness activities, expedite verification process and remove any operational hurdles. DC Doda also instructed the health and CSC teams to work in close coordination for door-to-door coverage, service delivery at health institutions and timely uploading of beneficiary data.
