JAMMU: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir General Secretary and former Deputy Mayor Jammu, Baldev Singh Billawaria, inaugurated “The Beauty Studio” in the Gangyal area of Jammu city. Speaking on the occasion, Billawaria expressed happiness, saying that it is encouraging to see today’s youth moving forward towards self-reliance and bringing positive change in society through self-employment.
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan’ (Self-Reliant India Mission) has become a symbol of the nation’s economic empowerment. This campaign has not only boosted the industrial sector but has also inspired a strong spirit of entrepreneurship among youth and women. Billawaria said that today, women in India are excelling in every field—be it education, politics, or business. In the beauty and wellness sector a large number of women are standing on their own feet, not only empowering themselves but also providing employment opportunities to others.
He praised Sunaina Kumari for taking a step towards self-reliance by opening “The Beauty Studio”, adding that her initiative will certainly inspire and provide employment to many other young women in the future. He further said that the BJP government’s policies are dedicated to the welfare of the poor, labourers, farmers, youth, and women. Schemes like Mudra Yojana, Startup India, and Stand-Up India have given millions of young people the opportunity to start their own businesses. Initiatives by local entrepreneurs in areas like Gangyal reflect that Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a self-reliant India is becoming a reality on the ground.
Billawaria emphasised that the time has come for youth to not just look for government jobs but to become job creators themselves. He said that if every young person starts a small business or enterprise in their area, it will empower both the individual and the community. The BJP government’s goal, he added, is the development and empowerment of every section of society. Central government schemes are giving youth not only the power to dream but also the means to fulfils those dreams. The Beauty Studio owner Sunaina Kumari expressed her gratitude to Baldev Singh Billawaria and said that she aims to provide quality services while creating employment opportunities for local women.
