KATRA: A proud moment for Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) as NCC Cadet Bhumika Sharma has successfully completed the Para Basic Course at the AATS, Agra. She was selected from among 25 Senior Wing (SW) cadets across India, showcasing her exceptional merit, perseverance and dedication.

During the prestigious course, Cadet Bhumika received rigorous training in airborne techniques and successfully performed para jumps from the AN-32 aircraft, demonstrating both courage and discipline. Upon completion, she earned the coveted Paratrooper Badge, marking a major milestone in her NCC journey. Dr. Varun Dutta, NCC Coordinator, SMVDU, lauded the cadet for her unwavering commitment and outstanding performance that led to this remarkable achievement.

This accomplishment stands as an inspiration for all NCC cadets of SMVDU and reflects the university’s commitment to supporting students in pursuing excellence in adventure and leadership. Prof. Pragati Kumar, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, and Sh.
