NEW DELHI: The Centre for NaMo Studies (CNMS) has announced a special initiative to engage students and young minds in discussions about India’s future. Universities and colleges across the country have been invited to organize a two-day Workshop on “National Education Policy and Viksit Bharat 2047”, with a focus on sports and cultural development. Selected institutions will be awarded a grant of ₹1.5 lakh to support the organization of these events.
CNMS has sent letters to all Central, States and Private universities and Colleges, urging them to participate and submit proposals. The final selection of participating institutions will be made by a Jury appointed by the CNMS, ensuring that the most deserving and innovative proposals are chosen.
Prof. Jasim Mohammad, Managing Trustee of CNMS, stated, “Through this initiative, we want to educate and inspire our young brains, encouraging them to actively think about India’s growth, its rich cultural heritage, the role of sports and national education policy in building a strong nation. This seminar series is designed to stimulate creativity, leadership, and a sense of responsibility among students, aligning with the vision of a developed India by 2047.”
CNMS emphasized that the program is not only about awarding funds but also about building awareness and fostering dialogue among students and researchers on key aspects of national development. Topics such as sustainable growth, technological advancement, sports, cultural values, and youth participation in nation-building are expected to be central to these seminars.
Universities and colleges interested in hosting the event can expect guidance and support from CNMS, and successful institutions will gain both recognition and the financial assistance needed to make the seminars impactful. CNMS hopes that through this initiative, students will gain a deeper understanding of India’s vision for 2047 and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s progress.
CNMS AC Member Prof Divya Tanwar said, India's Universities and colleges interested in hosting the event are encouraged to submit their proposals by 20th December 2025. The selected workshops are scheduled to be organized during February and March 2026. Treasurer of CNMS Dr Daulat Ram Sharma said, Institutions that are registered or affiliated as Institutional Members of the Centre for NaMo Studies (CNMS) will be given preference during the selection process.
