RAJOURI: Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Malik Zada Sheraz-ul-Haq today chaired an important meeting in his office chamber to review and finalize the preparations for the celebration of Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, scheduled to be held tomorrow at the Dak Bungalow.
The ADDC assigned specific responsibilities to district officers to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the event. Officers including the PO ICDS, District Tribal Officer Harpal Singh, Chief Agriculture Officer Rajesh, DSWO Abdul Raheem and other concerned officials attended the meeting and actively participated in the discussions.
The ADDC emphasized coordinated efforts among all departments and directed the officers to ensure all arrangementsâincluding venue setup, cultural activities, logistics and crowd managementâare completed well in time.
The Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas celebration will feature vibrant cultural performances, traditional stalls and a live address by the Honâble Prime Minister, highlighting the governmentâs commitment to honoring and preserving the rich cultural heritage of tribal communities. The event aims to showcase the unique traditions, contributions and legacy of the tribal population of Rajouri district. The ADDC urged all departments to work in close synergy to make the program a grand success and encouraged the public to participate in the celebrations.
