Babliana Panchayat delegation meets BJP leader Billawaria, receives assurance on early road repairs

JAMMU: A delegation from the Babliana Panchayat of the RS Pura-Jammu South Assembly constituency met with Baldev Singh Billawaria, General Secretary of BJP Jammu and Kashmir and former Deputy Mayor of Jammu, to highlight the poor condition of roads in the area and the resulting hardships faced by local residents. The delegation informed Billawaria that the prolonged lack of road construction and repair work has created significant transportation difficulties, affecting daily commutes, local businesses, and school children.

Billawaria listened attentively to the concerns raised and assured the delegation that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) remains committed to public service, with the prompt resolution of citizen issues being a top priority. He emphasized that he has always given importance to public hearings and will continue to ensure the speedy resolution of every issue brought to his notice.

He further stated that he would personally monitor the situation and direct officials to commence necessary repair and construction work without delay. He added that the detailed report of all pending development projects in the area will also be brought to the attention of the current MLA, Dr. Narinder Singh, for immediate action and prioritization. Highlighting the broader development agenda, Billawaria noted that progress in Jammu has accelerated under the leadership of the Modi government at the center.

He mentioned that Jammu Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma would also be informed to ensure balanced and equitable development across the region. “Roads are the lifeline of any area, and poor infrastructure affects people’s daily lives. We will ensure that road repair work is initiated promptly, with a focus on quality and timely completion,” he said.

Billawaria also called upon concerned officials to adopt a sensitive approach toward public grievances and complete all development works efficiently. The Babliana Panchayat delegation expressed gratitude for Billawaria’s proactive intervention and expressed confidence that his efforts would soon bring relief to local residents. They also expressed hope that road improvement works would gain momentum in the coming days, ensuring safe and smooth transportation for the community.
