JAMMU: BJP Mahila Morcha J&K President Advocate Neha Mahajan today successfully led two impactful programmes in Vijaypur and Jammu West, focusing on women’s empowerment, Swadeshi commitment, and the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. A large number of women from Jammu & Kashmir Mahila Morcha, along with enthusiastic participation from local women of the respective areas, were present throughout both programmes, reflecting the growing strength and unity of the Mahila Morcha.
In Vijaypur, a Mahila Sammelan titled “Bazurga Da Beda” was organised, where Adv. Neha Mahajan highlighted the pivotal role of women in preserving cultural values, strengthening society, and leading community development. She affirmed that women have always been the backbone of India’s social fabric, and the BJP government is fully committed to their dignity, safety, and empowerment. She spoke about key welfare schemes such as Ujjwala Yojana, Women’s Reservation, Mudra Yojana, Ladli Beti, and other initiatives dedicated to uplifting women in every sphere of life.
Later, in Jammu West, Adv. Mahajan addressed a significant gathering under the theme “Atmanirbhar Bharat – Swadeshi Sankalp”, encouraging women to adopt indigenous products, support local entrepreneurs, and promote the idea of economic self-reliance. She stated that Swadeshi is a spirit of national pride and a step towards a stronger, self-sufficient India, where women’s participation is essential. Women showcased various self-help group products and local innovations, demonstrating their capability and determination to contribute to India’s economic growth.
Throughout both programmes, Adv. Neha Mahajan motivated Mahila Morcha workers to strengthen organisational activities at the booth level, remain connected with people, and spread the message of development, nationalism, and social harmony. She reiterated that the Mahila Morcha will continue reaching every household to understand women’s issues and work tirelessly to empower them politically, socially, and economically.
The daylong initiatives concluded with a collective pledge by all participants to contribute wholeheartedly toward Viksit Bharat 2047, promote Swadeshi values, and ensure greater participation of women in public life under the dynamic guidance of the BJP.
