RAJOURI: As part of the ongoing Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, district Rajouri today witnessed vibrant activities celebrating the rich heritage and contribution of tribal communities.
A grand celebration was held in the Town Hall, emphasizing tribal pride and cultural identity. To promote tribal welfare, a saturation camp, focusing on the government schemes under the Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas (JJGD) program, was held at Block Panjgrain. This initiative aimed to enhance awareness and ensure accessibility to government benefits among tribal populations.
Further, an awareness program was organized at the Panchayat Ghar in Rehtal Block, reinforcing community participation in tribal development efforts. Additionally, Financial Literacy Camps were hosted by JK Bank at Panjgrain and Nowshera to promote financial awareness and inclusion among local residents.
The Department of AYUSH organized four health awareness and medicine distribution camps as part of the Janjatiya Gaurav Divas 2025 celebrations. These camps collectively benefited a total of 221 individuals, promoting health and wellness through traditional medicine systems while contributing to the broader tribal welfare initiative under this significant observance.
