JAMMU: A special program was organized at the Brigadier Rajendra Singh MVC Boys Hostel of the Central University of Jammu to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the patriotic song "Vande Mataram." As part of this year-long national celebration, students enthusiastically participated in the mass singing of "Vande Mataram" held on the hostel premises under the able guidance of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sanjeev Jain.

Prof. Bharat Bhushan, Hostel Warden and Joint wardens, Dr. Shashikanta Mishra, Dr. Pravesh Pal, and Dr. Jaswinder Singh, all the students demonstrated their patriotism by singing the national anthem aloud. Prof. Bhushan, informed the students about the history of the composition of "Vande Mataram" and urged them to preserve the glory of our great leaders who held the nation high.

The program reflected the spirit of unity and patriotism among the participants. Through this collective celebration, the students reaffirmed their commitment to the values of unity, sacrifice, and love for the motherland. Hostel office staff Pawan Kumar, Rakesh, and Updesh, along with all the security staff, provided special support on this occasion.
