RAMBAN: State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI RSETI) Ramban today organized an Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) at Neel Batoo and Neel Top.
The Programme, held under the guidance of Director, S. Harvinder Singh and led by Senior Faculty Member Amrik Singh Raju, witnessed enthusiastic participation of over 50 local residents, including youth, women, and aspiring entrepreneurs. Ex-Sarpanch Ghulam Rasool, who graced the occasion as Guest of Honour, lauded SBI RSETI Ramban for reaching remote areas and encouraging rural youth to become self-reliant through entrepreneurship.
The Faculty Member informed participants about the free training programmes conducted by SBI RSETI Ramban to enhance self-employment skills. He also elaborated on Government Sponsored Loan Schemes such as PMEGP, JKREGP and MUDRA, urging youth to avail the benefits the same for establishing their ventures. Awareness was also imparted about Mission YUVA, focused on skill-based training and financial empowerment.
Additionally, participants were briefed about social security schemes like PMSBY, PMJJBY, and APY. The locals appreciated SBI RSETI Ramban for organizing such a beneficial programme, acknowledging the instituteâs ongoing efforts in promoting financial literacy, skill development and entrepreneurship across rural areas.
