JAMMU: A poster making cum awareness program was organized at the Government Degree College Marh under the guidance of the College Principal Prof. Ramneek Kour under the aegis of No Tobacco Campaign 3.0. Convener Prahari Club Nasha Mukt Bharat, Prof. Malti Rajput led the program organized as a part of its ongoing efforts to promote awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco and to encourage a tobacco free lifestyle among youth and the community.
The competition aimed to engage students in creatively expressing their thoughts on the theme âSay No to Tobacco, Yes to Life.â Students showcased artistic talent and deep understanding of the social, environmental and health consequences of tobacco use. A panel consisting of Dr. Madhvi Prasher, Dr. Balwinder Saini and Dr. Sheetal Devi evaluated the posters based on creativity, message clarity, visual impact and originality. The other faculty members present were Prof. Sachin Kumar, Dr. Tanu Sharma and Dr. Priyanka Gupta.
