BARAMULLA: As part of Civic Action Programme, J&K Police organised a blood donation camp at District Police Lines (DPL) Baramulla in collaboration with the Department of Immunohematology & Blood Transfusion (Blood Centre), Government Medical College Baramulla.
The event was organised in remembrance of police martyrs who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. It served as a tribute to their selfless service and an expression of solidarity with their families.
A team of medical officers and technicians from GMC Baramulla, headed by Dr Saadat Nazir Shah (HOD, Blood Centre), facilitated the camp. A large number of police officers and officials donated blood to support the cause of saving precious lives.
Senior officers of Baramulla Police visited the camp, interacted with the donors, and appreciated their humanitarian spirit. They reiterated the departmentâs commitment to contributing towards community welfare and strengthening police-public relations through such noble initiatives. The event concluded with a note of gratitude extended to GMC Baramulla for their technical support and to all blood donors for their selfless participation.
