GANDERBAL: An educational tour of the 2nd Professional students of Government Unani Medical College (GUMC), Ganderbal was today flagged off by Principal, GUMC, Prof. (Dr.) Iffat Hassan Shah, in the presence of Administrator, Associated Hospitals, Government Medical College Srinagar, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak.

The flag-off ceremony was attended by the Administrative Officer, Nodal Officer and Accounts Officer of GUMC along with senior faculty members and staff of the college. The students are scheduled to visit Delhi and Rajasthan as part of this academic tour.

The educational tour has been organized to provide students with broader exposure and practical insights into the academic, medical, and cultural dimensions of different regions. It forms an integral component of their professional training and aims to enhance their understanding of the Unani system of medicine in relation to other healthcare frameworks.
