SRINAGAR: The Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) today met with the Hon’ble Minister of Health and Medical Education, Ms. Sakeena Itoo, to congratulate her on her new role. The meeting, led by Dr. Mohd Yousuf Tak, took place at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar.
During the meeting, the delegation highlighted several long-standing demands of the medical community, emphasizing the need for the reconstitution of the high-power committee established under order no. 340-HME on June 1, 2018. This committee is crucial for addressing various issues faced by healthcare professionals and improving the healthcare system in the region.
The Hon’ble Minister listened attentively to the concerns raised by the DAK and assured them that her department would take prompt action to issue an order for the reconstitution of the committee. The DAK expressed gratitude to the minister for her willingness to engage with their concerns and her commitment to supporting the medical fraternity.
